My Beginnings

I was born on 24th September, 1982. My siblings and I grew up in Uso, Akure, Owo and Ado-Ekiti of the old Ondo State. My mum retired as a nurse while my dad was a teacher.

In 2013, I obtained a master’s degrees in Tourism and Wildlife Management from FUTA and another master’s in World Heritage Studies from BTU, Cottbus-Senftenberg in 2017. A background in natural and cultural heritage management has enhanced my intuition for good governance.

My Politics

From 1999 to November 2015, I followed and supported politicians from South-West Nigeria who paid priceless sacrifice through platforms like the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) to ensure democratic governance of the 4th republic became a reality.

During the 2019 presidential elections, my vote was for Prof. Kingsley Moghalu.

In March 2021 at Adesuper Hotel in Akure, I launched ‘IGBIMO APAPO OSISE ONISEOWO ATI ALADANI ILE YORUBA’, a non-partisan platform whose objective is to organize the opinions of members of the non-formal sector, similar to how the Nigerian Labour Congress represents the formal sector of the economy.

I became a registered member of a political party for the first time in 2023 when I joined the Labour Party of Nigeria.

Mission

The mission of my administration is to ensure cash flows sustainably across all senatorial districts and classes of society in Ondo State.

For example, if the income of a trader from Ilaje substantially improves due to increased patronage from tourism related activities, the disposable income of her children in higher institutions in the northern and central senatorial districts will also increase significantly which will invariably increase the economic activities in the communities surrounding these institutions.

Vision

My vision is for Ondo-State to be peaceful, secured and prosperous.
